On January 25th the kids at Middlesex High School, plus some special guests, took to the stage for their annual Listening Room performance. This year's performance had a special meaning to the students and families at MHS. This year's show was a Family Fundraiser for Mr. Sabato's family.
Mr. Joe Sabato was the principal of Middlesex High School who left us too soon. He was a huge fan of the music department and supported and believed in what they did. This show was truly a celebration of how he felt about the students and community and how they felt about him.
The show really was incredible! Members of local band Taylor Road and MHS Alumni were the house band for the powerful student setlist! To make this event even more memorable, family members of the students and the kids' Teacher, Vincent Inciong, joined them for a few songs as well. As an Alumni of Middlesex High School and a Mom of a MHS graduate, who was with the Music & Drama Department all 4 years of his HS career, I was so happy to have been available to document the amazing performances of so many talented students and their families.
A Special Thanks to a fellow photographer & friend David Alonso for photographing the event with us, as well as our 11 year old Nicholas (Junior) Giardina!
